REVIEW: HOLIKA HOLIKA PIG-NOSE CLEAR BLACKHEAD REMOVAL KIT

Korean beauty has taken over the beauty industry. They have released jaw-dropping products especially from brands such as Etude House, Holika Holika and Tony Moly I was fortunate enough to receive the Pig-nose 3 step kit for removing blackheads from my dear friend and beauty product/tools distributor from @Cakefacebeauty_ . If you are looking for a quick fix on removing your blackheads then keep on reading!

Holika Holika is a Korean brand created in 2010 owned by Enprani Co. Ltd. Holika Holika sells products that have uniquely designed packaging to grab the attention of young, style-conscious buyers. Their prices are affordable and their products are formulated using only the finest ingredients. The vision of Holika Holika is to create a fun practical cosmetic brand that enhances every woman’s natural beauty. The name Holika Holika derives from “-holic” which means addiction. In Korea, “holida” means the temptation to form the brand name and its concept.

He 3-step kit is from Holika Holika's Pig nose range. It was designed as a quick and easy way to get rid of blackheads, excess oil, and minimize pores around your nose area. I used to love using the charcoal pore strip from Clicks which I reviewed a while back (you can read it here) and I was quite interested in this one when I received it.

There are 3-steps to this kit as you are well aware of. Each step performs a very different and important function which is as follows,
Step 1: opens your pores which allow for removing blackheads easily.

Step 2: removes blackheads.

Step 3: minimize pores.

To use this kit the following must be done:
First start off by thoroughly cleansing your face. Then place strip 1 onto nose for 15-20minutes.
Strip number 1 looks like a sheet mask and feels alike. It is drenched in serum so be cautious when handling it in case it drips onto your clothes. Once the time has passed remove it slowly and wipe off any blackhead or impurities from your pores. This strip smells really nice but if you have very sensitive skin then please be aware that it can tingle a bit in the last 5 minutes.

Wet your nose with water and place strip 2 onto your nose. This strip looks like your regular pore strip. After 10-15 minutes you can slowly remove it from your nose starting at the edge. Since this pore strip is like any regular pore strip then keep in mind that it can be a bit painful when removing especially towards the tip of your nose which usually has a lot of blackheads.

Strip 3 has two layers. The outside is felt and the inside has a gel consistency to it. Due to the gel layer, it is very drippy just like strip number 1 so be cautious. Remove it after 10-15 minutes and gently tap it for better absorption.

Overall I think this is a fun product to use. It was particularly fun seeing all the dirt get ripped off. Gross but fun. If you are looking for a quick way to clear your nose area may it be to get rid of blackheads, excess oils or to simply reduce the size of your pores then this is a fun way to do so. The results are very similar to the Clicks pore strip that I reviewed a while back. What makes this a bit more appealing is the fact that there is a prepping stage and a soothing stage before and after the actual pore strip so your skin isn't irritated and you don't end up with an extremely red nose.

If you would like to purchase this kit then you can find it on @Cakefacebeauty_ Instagram page for only R55.00!
