REVIEW: CLEOPATRA BUTTERBALL BY RAIN

The sun might be shining but winter has come. Although many of you still believe that ‘winter is coming’ and will only be upon us on the 16th of July, I can assure you it is indeed here. With the short days and chilly evenings, I have enjoyed soaking in a bath filled with essential oils and aromatic bubbles. One of the products that I enjoy using is the butterballs from Rain. I was instantly attracted to the butterball by the name of Cleopatra. There were candles all around, gold glittering through the water, a bath fit for a queen.

Rain has four different types butterballs namely,-
Bed of Roses Butterball: R69.00
Butterfly Pea Butterball: R65.00
Tea Flower Butterball: R65.00
Cleopatra's Gold and Milk Butterball: R69.00
Each butterball has its own distinctive scent and adds a touch of luxury to your bath.

I was instantly drawn the Cleopatra butterball. It is a white butterball with rays of gold from the distinctive gold leaf petals that are placed all around the butterball.
According to Rain, “There are never enough hours in the day of a queen…” I couldn’t agree more with this phrase.

The Cleopatra butterball is a multipurpose product. It provides essential oils and butter (Cocoa and Shea butter) to help sooth dry skin and to add a touch of glow back into it while filling the bathroom with aromas to help calm your mind after a busy day. It is a product fit for both women and men. After all, Kings need some relaxation too.

The best way to use this product is to fill your bathtub with warm water to your own preference, I particularly love it extra hot. Once you filled the bath with your desired amount of water, place the butterball into the water and watch the pleasant theater and aroma. Once the butterball has fully dissolved, slowly get into the bath. Please remember that the butterball released essential oils so it might be a little slippery but nothing too extreme. Once you are in, soak up the goodness and enjoy your royal treatment. If you want to make it a bit more luxuries, then light some candles, and reach for your favourite magazine or book to read.

These butterballs are not as bubbly as you would expect. However, the benefits from the ingredients used in this butterball cover up for the lack of bubbles.

The Cleopatra butterball is made from: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Glucose, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Calcium Phosphate, GM-Free Rice Flour, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Maltodextrin, Vitamins & Minerals, Parfum (Fragrance), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Butter, Gold Leaf.

The cocoa butter in the butterball has a lot of amazing benefits for your butter. It helps to hydrate your skin to prevent dryness and peeling. The natural antioxidants in the cocoa butter are absorbed into your skin to help to treat dry and cracked skin from the inside. Cocoa butter also helps with rashes especially for people who have sensitive skin. Furthermore, it fights against the degeneration of skin. Another ingredient that is contained in the butterball that I love, it shea butter. Shea butter helps to soften and smooth your skin. It also helps with skin inflammation and wrinkles.

Make sure you rinse the bath tub once you are done so that all the oils and flowers are removed.
These magical butterballs are an easy way to add a bit of relaxation to your busy week. A treatment fit for royalty.
